A Urodynamic Studies Platform

This innovative model was designed to create the ideal urodynamic studies platform. With the input of a practicing urologist, fine-tuning was performed to create this groundbreaking UDS examination chair.

If necessary, this chair can also be converted for gynaecological exams and obstetric positions.

UDS function

This chair starts in a low Home position, making it easy to get on. The examiner has unobstructed access, and the UDS instrumentation can be seamlessly linked to the chair. The patient remains comfortably seated throughout the entire procedure.

Preset 1

Home

To facilitate getting on and off the examination chair easily, this preset will lower the chair to 550mm above the ground, raise the backrest to 85°, and the foot-raisers will lower to 0°.

Preset 2

UDS Examination

The position can be manually adjusted using the handheld remote control, allowing for precise adjustments to achieve the desired position.

Preset 3

Sonar Position

This position can be achieved when the “SONAR” icon is pressed on the handheld remote control.

The model is designed to fix an attachment to the seating area, converting the examination chair into a bed. The backrest will lower to 10°, and the armrests can be individually swung back to avoid access restriction during this procedure.

Once the preset is defined, finer adjustments can be achieved with the handheld remote control.

*All the above movements are performed simultaneously, apart from the finer and manual adjustments.
